We are proud to announce, that we have signed a deal with Target Booking - one of the biggest booking companies in Scandinavia at the moment. This means that our lame excuses not to play live are facing a hard time... dammit!

Well on another notice the clinic I did with Rasmus for Schecter guitars, Madison amps and Anatolian cymbals was a great success. Thanx a lot to everyone who showed up, and a special thanx to Kristian and Thumsen for arranging it. Pictures and a rapport will be up in the next issue of DMF member zine and I will post some pics here on the site as well soon.

More songs are being nailed at every rehearsal now, so I'm hoping to have the full album written by the end of this year.

All for now

A few things are going on in the band  - we decided to let Morten go and get original drummer Rasmus back again. It only took a few rehearsals before we had the first new song nailed - super cool to have such an awesome band to write with again! We also recruited former Hatesphere bassist Mikael so basically it's the best lineup we could imagine - both musically and personally. We are currently writing songs for the follow-up to "The Uncanny Valley", and so far the songs turned out really really heavy and intense - I´ll make sure to post some samples as soon as we have some decent recordings.
On another notice Rasmus and me will do a 2 hour clinic to demonstrate some of the instrument brands that have supported us over the years. We´ll be playing some Koldborn songs and demonstrating techniques besides off course being available for questions and chat about metal music. The clinic will take place at "Gæstgivergården - Banevej 3, 8543 Hornslet" from 19.00 - 21.00 and entrance is for free! Sign up by writing this email famdan@kristiandanielsen.dk . The clinic is supported by DMF-Djursland.

Wauw! It's been a while since any update from the Koldborn camp. Sorry about that! Let's begin with the biggest things first, eh, actually the smallest. anyway Jakob has somehow succeeded in spreading his genes with a little help from his dear Elsa who has given birth to a baby boy, Gabriel. All the best to you guys. Nice work. One advice: It's much cheaper to give Gabriel his first full-arm tattoo now, don't let that skin grow too expensive!
I'm sure everybody is already aware of this but here goes: Henrik aka Heinz is no longer a part of good friends Hatesphere but that monster came to our little camp again. In the stillness of the night the monster came and snatched Jakob. Damn you monster! No, it's all good, Jakob is a capable guy and despite what is often said about his gender, he can multitask like Robocop.
Futhermore, our dear drummer Morten has gotten himself a full spons with mighty Tama! That is insane! Congratulations to you Morten.
Hmm, what else. Ahh, yes, Henrik is now a company owner, I'm not exactly sure what this means but I know I for my part will be careful, that beautiful lad can sell you anything: a wink with his eye and I just got a lot poorer. Good luck with that Heinz!
Boris has been seen on different locations (every location, Red.) where they are known for selling beer. Thumps up to you Boris for pursuing your destiny, looking forward to go down the same road, share the path.
I myself am writing on my master thesis, in other words: enjoying the Sjatox!
New materiel are been processed and we enter the studio to do another fullenght for Listenable records, hopefully in the very beginning of the New Year.

Upcomming shows:
Musikcafeen, Århus: 5/10
Kansas City, Odense: 13/10
Studenterhuset, Århus: 2/12
The Rock, Copenhagen: 28/12

All the best to everyone!

New blood in Koldborn!
Drummer Rasmus Salskov has left Koldborn to devote his time to his family. In his place Morten Løwe Sørensen (Submission, The Arcane Order) will get behind the kit.
We have also found a brand new bass-player in Boris Tandrup (Submission, The Arcane Order).

Here's a full review from Metalhammer (9/10, D):

Hammer!

Just a short but very positive update from the Koldborn Camp: One great review after the other keeps coming in from all over the world. It's overwhelming and it's just so energy-fuelling... Yehaaaaa! We will show-off by bringing them here shortly but we wanna let you know that the classic legendary Rock Hard Magazine has rewarded The Uncanny Valley with the score 9/10... It's awesome. All the best from here.

Hope to see some of you Devils at future shows!!

We have been nominated as "Best Live Band" at the Danish Metal Awards. You can vote for us by sending a mail with your name and adress to dmea2006@danishmetal.dk with "Koldborn" in the subject line.

"The Uncanny Valley" was released too late to get nominated for "Album Of The Year", but we´ll comeback and grab the price next year!!!

Thanx for your support!

"The Uncanny Valley" is out in stores worldwide now through Listenable Records. Go out and buy it at your local cd pusher or order it online HERE.
The cd features vocal contributions from Sven (Aborted), Jason (As We Fight) and Jacob (Hatesphere) and shows us from a vicious and much more aggressive approach than "First Enslavement". Check it out and let us know what you think - we care!

Furthermore, we are at the moment rehearsing for our next shows here in sweet ol' Denmark which will take place in Copenhagen at The Rock on 27 Oct. and Odense at Rytmeposten on 8 Dec.
Those of you who saw the last shows might have noticed that we get help from Mikael from Hatesphere on the bass as we are still searching for a fulltime bassplayer to fill in the spot. So get in touch if you got what it takes.which isn't much haha.

Horns way up! /Heinz
